Yoga Class Descriptions

Class content varies from week to week, with a focus on our posture of the month! Options provided, all levels welcome!

All classes include meditation, breath work and a lovely 10 minute relaxation at the end!

 
Yoga slow flow

Slow Flow.

A slow paced flow suited for beginners and those wanting a slow softening practice. Focusing on the fundamentals of yoga, helping to nurture the body and the mind. Exploring gentle dynamic movement & holding postures, designed to de-stress & restore whilst building strength & flexibility.

Every Tuesday in Hadlow 5:45-6:45pm

 
restorative yoga

Rest & Restore.

A slow, low to the ground practice, that nurtures, restores and relaxes the body as well as the mind. Restorative postures are held for 2-3 minutes, and there is very little if any on the knees. Props such as pillows or bolsters are encouraged.
End of the 6 week term. Hadlow & Yalding only.

 
Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Flow.

A dynamic steady paced class, combining breath with movement and building heat within the body. Involving transitional movement & traditional yoga postures that develop strength, flexibility, stamina and focus. A class that nourishes the body & the mind, releasing tension and stress, finding a balance between effort & ease. 
Every Thursday Yalding 6:15-7:15pm and at the Angel Centre

Peak Posture Flow.

An hour and a half class that focuses on building to a Peak Posture, such as a backbend, inversion, hip opener etc.

A slightly faster pace, that focuses on strengthening and building both your physical and mental practice, think more vinyasa's, chaturanga's, up and down from the floor, more 1 2 1 guidance and adjustments, plus followed by a yummy relaxing savasana with oils and a massage!

It is suitable for all levels except complete beginners (so if you have never yoga before), but please consider the above points before booking. As always options will be provided throughout and plenty of opportunity to rest!

Happy Cat Yoga

A gentle nurturing yoga class, that focuses more on your wellbeing than a strenuous exercise. Meditation, breath work, stretching, slow movement, a calming atmosphere joined by the rescue cats at Paws Cat Cafe We honour the meaning of yoga, no gimmicks, respect the cats and allow them to frolic amongst the mats! Expect a cat on your mat! No yoga experience required!

Every 1st Sunday of the month 10-11am, followed by 30 minutes of alone time with the cats, plus coffee, tea, a snack, whatever takes your fancy. Call below to book!
