1 in 4 people in the UK, will experience a mental health problem. 1 in 6.8 people experience mental health problems in the workplace. Wellbeing in the workplace is a must have and research shows that yoga in the workplace increases emotional wellbeing and reduces stress.

Not only is mental health prevalent, physical pain is to, contributing to your staff’s wellbeing. Back pain is one of the most common injuries in causing absence at work, spending long hours sitting at a desk, with technology constantly advancing, our minds and bodies our experiencing higher stress levels and finding it harder to relax and unwind.

Yoga in the workplace is known to increase productivity, reduce stress and anxiety, boost staff morale resulting in a decrease of staff absences and turnover. Sitting down all day is one of the biggest causes of back pain, typing on a keyboard is a major cause of carpal tunnel syndrome, the added pressures in our society and at work is contributing to an increase in mental illness.

Yoga at work can help relieve all of the above, stretches to reduce back and wrist pain, breathing techniques and mindful movement to increase mental wellbeing.

Classes can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour,  sweat free and tailored to suit your needs and schedule. All that is needed is some space and I’ll provide the mats.

Online classes are run via zoom. A mat isn’t essential, just some space and maybe a cushion or two.
